Proud New Owner! 2021 Jayco Seneca 37L!

Hello all!
New to rv’ing and the Jayco family! Couldn’t be more excited. My wife and I fly out from Oklahoma to California on the 10th of September to bring home our 2021 Jayco Seneca 37L. We have 4 kids and we are all pumped about jumping into the RV world! I have read mixed reviews on the Super C Facebook board about Seneca’s. They aren’t big fans of the Seneca, but their Renegades!!😂
They say they are much better quality than Seneca’s, but we have really grown to love everything about the Seneca.
Anyways, we can’t wait to get started and it seems like a great group of folks on here. Just wanted to say hello and if you have any words of advice for a Newbie, it would be greatly appreciated.
Chuck

Welcome to the club. Yes the FB Super C page is very bias towards the Renegade, but they forget that Renegade usually cost more....I still say the Seneca/Accolade is the best bang for the buck, but then again I don’t mind projects or making things better myself.

Congrats and welcome. If you have any issues just ask and you will likely get an answer quickly. To get the best results always try to be as complete as possible. Be clear on the topic and include your year and model number in your post. Pictures are great and help a lot.

Since your flying to your pick up be sure you go over everything at the delivery.. Take it for a test drive and be sure the alignment is correct. Jayco in the past paid for this at delivery but if you accepted it and then determine it needed alignment it is on your dime. Not sure of current practice.
Get everything fixed at delivery.

Finally get out there and enjoy the journey. This can be a great experience for you and your family.

Congratulations and welcome as well!

Don’t be afraid to inspect the roof before you sign the paperwork. I had several places that needed Dicor and a large area on the front cap that never got clear coat. Could not see from ground level.
Safe travels.

I refuse to have anything to do with Facebook so no great loss there.

On my last outing over the course of 6 nights in campgrounds I saw:

Renegade = 0
Dynamax DX3 = 2
Nexus = 1
Seneca = 2 (one in a campground and one in a rest stop)

I own 2015 Seneca 37TS and it has been fairly bullet proof. Its fairly simple to figure out and the Freighter platform is a proven winner. However, like anything brand new from yachts to motor homes their will be issues but with patience, knowledge and good communications you can get them fixed. Congrats and Enjoy.

Take a lot of notes as you go through the walk through...nice to have something to refer to later on. I’d even consider videotaping some of it...

We have owned our 2014 Seneca TS for 5 1/2 years and almost 50,000 miles. Have had only minor problems that I fixed, never having to take it to Jayco for anything. The Freightliner platform is near bullet proof. Have made several mods, nothing drastic. We have enjoyed our Seneca and hope to for several years to come. Enjoy the excitement of your new MH and make lots of wonderful memories. Stay safe and healthy, Sam
