Rattle in Seneca steering wheel

I have a 2015 Seneca. Love the coach except for one annoying rattle in the steering wheel. It seems to be worse in warmer weather and doesn't happen all the time. It sounds like there is a loose screw rattling around when you hit bumps or any road imperfections. By putting slight pressure either up or down on the steering wheel makes it stop but comes right back after holding wheel normal. Have taken the plastic off which covers the column and steering wheel and can't find anything. Wondering of anyone else has experienced this. The rattle is coming from inside the cab for sure

I have not heard that on our unit. At about 15,000 miles it developed a groaning noise when steering back and forth. I traced it to the rubber boot where the steering column goes through the firewall. A squirt of silicone spray and the noise was gone.

Did you try moving the tilt and see if the noise changes?

Thanks for your reply. The rattle is there no matter what tilt position or telescoping position the steering wheel is in

I too had a rattle in my 2014 37FS, but I could press down on the dash in front of the steering wheel and it would cease. I pulled the curved front dash piece that has maybe 12 screws visible and the tabs holding the back flat panel the switches mount to were broken so it was effectively floating. The Freightliner warranty dealer replaced the entire panel under warranty and added that the trucking company Con-Way had a dozen in for the same problem. It was an expensive fix at $945 parts and $1240 labor. Hope yours ain't that.
