Rear Camera

2006 35GS, rear B&W camera dysfunctional, wish to install new furion. But need power at camera for bluetooth. Old coax has 3 wires, hoping one is hot full time and not just when in reverse. Rear clearance markers are hot, but only when clearance lights are on. Needing to tap into a nearby 12v source. Has anyone addressed this issue?

We gotter. Fished a wire from rear camera area behind rear cap, at the crown, then down left column of rear cap and were able to tap into hot wire controlled by ignition. Found that existing camera coax also drops down behind the rear cap and follows the chassis frame.

Thanks for the info!

Did you change out the stock B&W screen? If so, how did you remove it? I'm considering upgrading mine.

we left old B&W in place on visor. set the furion on the dash and connect it to cig lighter for power. On the camera end we drilled and attached with small machine bolts to the old camera translucent plate. Unfortunately when pulling enclosed trailer, all we see is cargo trailer. so hoping bluetooth will reach when installing second camera on rearend of trailer.
