Rv power system

I wanted to post some finished pictures of the solar / power system I installed in our Entegra 37 K. The battery bank is 2,390 amp hrs or 30,000 watts. We have 1600 watts on the roof and 600 watts ground solar as well as 2 x 50 amp (1400 watts) dc to dc chargers running when driving the rig. The system is capable of running both ac’s and the microwave at the same time. I used 100 % all victron gear as for it is the best and most robust you can install. Please feel free to reach out with any questions as for it was a blast installing this setup on my own.

Looks good, more power than most need. Just curious why you still have the LiBIM and running dual DC2DC chargers. Lately there have been many reports of the LiBIM failing on large battery banks. What does your battery bank consist of?

It’s not just there as a place holder as the line goes
Up to the top right bus bar and that is the positive for gen start as well as the dc to dc chargers. Basically save on cable run and breaker

That's a nice setup!

I wanted to set up a solar system on my 23B using 4 325 watt solar panels and 6 100 WH lithium batteries however after seeing what you are using for Victron equipment I may need to re think what I do. Is all the at Victron gear necessary?

Here's a list of gear I see, but I know I am missing some gear.

Victron Energy MultiPlus II

Victron Energy MPPT 150 ~ 100 TR VE.Can

Victron Energy 1000 DC Distributor

Victron Energy 1000 DC Distributor

Victron Energy Lynx BMS 500

Then there is an other 1000 Victron Energy item on the left I can't fully read

Let me expand on what I posted above.

I currently have 4 100 watt Renogy solar panels and a Renogy 200 watt suitcase.

I have 1 Victron 100/30 MPPT Smart controller and 1 100/50 MPPT Smart controller. 2 lead acid deep cycle batteries 81wh hr each and a separate Gel 100wh battery. the gel and lead acid batteries are on 2 different battery banks.

I plan to add 4 325 watt solar panels and a Victron 150/100 MPPT Smart controller for the lithium batteries I plan on adding next year. This bank would power a 3000 watt true sine wave inverter to power the microwave and ac.

It’s the lynx in,,for the battery bank only. I also have a 100/50 ground solar and another 12/30 dc to dc isolated for keep chassis batteries top off during storage. I have moved tank monitors and auto generator start / control to the victron system. The best thing about using all victron is the ability to control and get alerts from anywhere on any device. If any one needs help feel free to pm us.

It's amazing how underwhelming my system looks next to yours.
Mine works very well and I'm happy with it, so it's just an observation.

Thanks , It’s pretty cool for sure. Next I’m adding sea level tank sensors to it as it will go directly into the victron system now.

Are you setting up a seperate RV-C network for the Sea-Level system and the Victron components?

VERY impressive system! Very clean install!

Are you getting soul? I've been watching for an announcement.
What are you hooking it to?

The SeeLevel N2K or RV-C line of sensor kits can be directly connected to the Victron Cerbo GX by creating a NMEA2000 network. Last I heard the “soul” is only available to OEM manufacturers of the coach.

I contacted Sea Level a few months back. They would sell me a soul. At least the person I talked to.... I was investigating doing a 2nd RV-C network using eRVin. The soul documentation describes setting the addresses for each of the tanks for the RV-C network. The Victron hardware should also be RV-C compatible. I was not sure how configurable the Victron display was.?

That is the same one I’m looking into as it will do all 5 of my tanks. The issue is I have my bms and a mppt on that interface now and adding this has issue with locking up those items. They have one that does 3 tanks and it’s plug and play it uses n2k interface.
