Seneca 37TS Slide Topper

2017 Seneca 37TS has no slide topper on passenger side kitchen slide out. Water collects on top of slide, and can come inside RV when retracting slide. Question: has anyone installed a slide topper on this slide?? Not even sure there is room between awning and slide out to install a topper. Thanks!!

Jayco claims there is not enough room to install a separate slide out awning. What you can do is to put the main awning partially out to cover to slideout, lower the arm on one end so that it will drain. The only problem doing this is that the awning when not fully extended will kind of flap up and down if there is a strong wind but you can always retract the awning and close the slide if the weather dictates

I do have to pay special attention to those slide seals that they “flip” out when the slide opens or it leaks. I agree that a better solution should have existed for this slide as it needs a topper. Also, although we have fiberglass roof, the slides have rubber roofs and that slide is exposed to the sun.

That's what they said about our PilNNACLE too, but it got installed.

Thanks for all the replies. We do use our awning when weather dictates, but hate to leave it extended when winds kick up. If a topper could be installed, I would have it done. Going back to the factory in July, maybe they will fix what causes water to enter the RV when slide is retracted. Thanks again.....Happy Trails to you
