Seneca air connection?

Anyone know if the newer Seneca's on the S2 have a air connection hidden somewhere that I can hook an air hose to air up tires and what not?

I was under my 2019 Seneca yesterday, looking over the air tanks. The secondary tank has a brass nut on the front side of the tank. I am not sure if you could remove the nut and install the necessary fittings, and use the tank as a compressor for the tires. But otherwise, there are no factory connections for air hoses.

What is interesting, the Renegade Valencia has an onboard compressor. The Seneca and Valencia are built on the same chassis, just wondering how Valencia has a compressor and our Seneca's do not. Did Renegade tap into the air tanks or did they install a completely different system? HMM.. My wife tells me thinking gets me into trouble, so I try not to think too hard.

I would look at some of the previous posts on this as they outline the safety precautions that need to be taken to prevent loss of air to the brakes. The previous posts were related to air horns and have descriptions and solenoids explained. Since the newer rigs have air horns you might be able to tap into that line. The biggest issue with using the rig for air after the safety issue is the chassis engine needs to run. If you are parked somewhere and have dropped the airbags for leveling the air inflating into the bags can change your level situation.

Yea my diesel pusher that we just got rid of had a quick connect. When we got read to pull out I would start it, let build air then air up the Jeep tires before hitting the road.. Supper handy.

That is what I was thinking, safety issues. Personally I have a Viair RV compressor which works just fine. It is quite and efficient.

An air hose real is on my list of to-do. I was thinking about mounting it next to the battery tray. My Seneca has an unused area there that would be about the ideal size for a retractable hose real.

I added air horns with a protection valve and have thought about putting a T after the protection valve for the hose real.

I also added air actuated brakes for my Toad.

I wouldn't be afraid to tap the air system but be sure to do it safely and understand how the system works before cutting lines / adding accessories.

We added the protection valve (VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!) and a Tee to a quick connect and the other end to our Air Horns we added too. The Safety valve stops air flow from the tank when the tank pressure drops below a specificed limit for safety. I usually won't get air anyways unless the tanks are full with the engine running.

Ahhh we used to do that... Now we just throw the 4x4 on the trailer with the Toyota aired down and head to our next destination - saves a lot on wearing out Mud Terrains on the toad.
