Seneca Air Horns

Wimpy horn on my Seneca makes cars just laugh after they pull out in front of me. Has anyone installed or had Freightliner install air horns on their Seneca? I have air over hydraulics brakes but I'm concerned about tapping into an air line with brake connections on it. I'm thinking about letting Freightliner do it on the next service.

I know nothing about air horns, but agree with the concern about tapping into the braking system. Do they make a self contained air horn system?

I installed a Stebel 11690058 - Nautilus Compact Truck Mini Air Horn from Amazon under the left tire well behind the bumper. Pretty loud, and not as involved as I shared the concern regarding the air lines.

We had just got all setup at one of our favorite sites a few years back and then we heard this loud noisy thing coming down the access road...

Turned out to be a 1960s vintage BLUE BIRD RV COACH with a couple of horns and loud speakers mounted on the roof. An older dude and younger dude was the only occupants,

They were playing loud songs and TAPS over the loud speakers and hollering up a storm haha...

It was just about dark and they tried to back in four or five times and I finally got out there to try to keep him from side swiping another truck sitting there on the side...

He finally got it backed in and then all of a sudden a whole bunch of outside lights come on lighting up all around the Blue Bird. I heard him tell his partner "Oh that what that switch does...." geeesch...

They finally get settled in for about an hour and then started drinking beer - had a big ole outside fire going and started playing with the noise maker again...

We knew this was not going to be a quiet night haha...

We usually just grin and bear it about what others do around us...

We survived the night and then about 5:30AM we got woken up with the BLUE BIRD Bus leaving with all the speakers going again full blast. They sure did love their outside noise makers haha...

We cheered them on their way....

Apparently they didn't get too far down the road as around 10AM I made a trip towards town to pickup a few things from WALMART and saw their Blue Bird COACH on the side of the road hooked up to a wrecker... Didn't see anyone except the wrecker driver around... Who knows how all of that turned out haha...

True story near Westmoreland State Park near Montross VA a couple of years ago...

I hate the horns on our F150, so I have looked into a horn system that is guaranteed to get the OP's attention. Watch the entire video, DW wants me to get it also.

Check out Horn Blasters. I installed the Katrina train horns, system has its' own compressor and 5-gallon air tank. When traveling down the interstate I get trains to respond back as its so freaking loud. People get out of the way. All components installed under the rig.

I'm jealous.. need to move it up on my priority list

I would probably use it in the middle of the night in a small town that is no where near any train tracks and the officers of the peace are sleeping.

Our Seneca has two horns. One on steering wheel one a switch on dash.
