Seneca awning question

The electric awning on my 2014 36FK goes almost straight out and has very little to no "fall" in it. I don't get much shade except at noon, and I have to retract it in the rain as it collect water. Is this normal or is there an adjustment that can be made?

Some came with adjustable arms some didn't. There are buttons in the arms that will let you lower each side if it is adjustable.

You're, likely, going to need a ladder to do this but there are adjustment pins on the awning arms (vertical bars attached to the side of the camper). In your case, you'll need to fully open the awning and push in the pins and slide them up, which will cause the awning to tilt down.

Mine has the adjustment clicks on both sides but it seems like not all Seneca's have the same awning...

Thanks,
Jeff

On our 2015, at the bottom of the awning arm (we do this with the awning closed) there is a push pin that you can slide the adjuster up / down. We can reach it while standing on the ground.

Should be some pins to depress on each side on the arm circled. You can angle it for rain but they should be no more than 3 positions apart when closing.

Do you remember which way you move the adjuster to tilt the awning down?

SloPoke,

I see your handy instruction sheet now! As mine were at the minimum pitch it wasn't hard to figure out. Thanks for your help.
