Seneca battery ?? What kind ??

Setting up our solar control panel and not exactly sure which option I should be using. I have three to choose from for battery type : sealed, agm, flooded.

I can charge two battery banks but I need to configure the solar control panel.
Trying to figure out what kind of batteries I have for house and chassis... the batteries are all from the factory, I haven’t changed any.

I’m not sure what the difference in the type of batteries are... anyone know what comes from Freightliner and Jayco in these ?

I believe, unless Jayco significantly changed their offering, that all your batteries are of the flooded type. If they have caps that can be removed to check/add water they are flooded. Easy enough to verify on the 4 house batteries. The chassis batteries are likely a "maintenance free" battery, but still probably have caps that will come off with a bit of effort.

Hopefully another member more familiar with batteries and solar will chime in, Mustang65 are you out there?!!

I'm pretty sure you will not have AGM batteries - they're too expensive. I know my house batts are flooded, i.e., they have caps and you add distilled water every now and then. I have not looked at the engine batts but will bet they are sealed as they are hard to get to.

Does the solar charger only charge the house batteries? If so just open your batt compartment and look...things change as the years go by.

Go Power control panel is configured to charge/maintain 2 banks of batteries. Priority is given to bank 1 and it is suggested that bank 1 be the house batteries.
When bank 1 is completely charged it automatically switches to bank 2.
I figure since it has a bank 2 option I would connect it to the chassis batteries.
Hopefully get a little longer life out of both banks of batteries.

Chassis batteries appear like they might have a top section I could pry open but definitely not like the house batteries.

Safe guess these are flooded also ??

Hard to see the batteries with the rats nest of wiring across the top.

True "sealed" batteries have a relief valve to vent pressure if they are overcharged causing them to excessively gas off. They also require a lower charging voltage to prevent them from gassing, hence the setting for them on the charge controller. An actual sealed battery is not the same (in my opinion) as a "maintenance free" automotive battery that still has caps that can be removed, albeit with difficulty. SLA batteries can be tipped over and not lose electrolyte, but I know my chassis batteries look identical to yours and I would not tip them over. They would spill!

If you assume the chassis batteries are sealed type you won't over cook them.
