Seneca bedroom slide

I have a problem I'd like to pass on. Our bedroom slide started to hang up on one side. Thinking it was just out of sync I tried to re sync it but the problem only got worst. Then i discovered that one of the screws that hold down the plastic cap on top of the bed frame had backed out about 1/2 inch and was tearing away at parts of the 2x2 frame under the plywood deck of the bed. So that probably caused my problem, but now my slide will not work as it should. I have to push out on one side because it hangs up then stops and when I do move it it sounds really bad. I can't see anything causing the hang up but I did noticed that one roller will move and the other won't. I'm thinking it may have something behind it causing it to not work as it should. Everything looks as it should.

Of course I'm in the begning of a 63 day caravan to Alaska and have been living with a close slide for several weeks. I had no internet service in Canada so I'm reaching out now, any ideas. Of course the Jayco dealers have no time to look at it but I do have an appointment with a service facility in Anchorage next week.

I had caught this issue before any slide issue came up. I caught is as I kept seeing wood shavings on the floor around the bed. What I found is the screw at the bottom of the pic was screwed into a void where there is no wood so it didn’t countersink into the plastic rub block. I moved the screw about 1” closer to the screw above it and also predrilled with a countersink to set the screw head about 1/8” below plastic block. The slide operated much smoother after this fix.

I hope you get your slide issue worked out for your trip!
