Picked up new 2015 Seneca on Oct. 2nd and brought home. Oct 4th inside door latch breakes and can't open door from inside. Call dealer next day and they have no replacement will have to orde from Jayco. Oct. 17th still waiting. Was told at least anoth week! Would like to take new rig out but don't want to exit cab door everytime I want to exit. Any suggestions?

I have a 2015 Seneca and mine broke in the first week as well. It took me 4 weeks to get one from Jayco. The bar or pin that actuates the lock broke off. I drilled a small hole in my door latch and put a short bolt with a screw on one side to make it secure to act as the lock actuator. Very frustrating, they told me a week to get the part, it took 4.

The only thing I can think of is removing a piece(s) of the lock that's preventing you from exiting through the coach door. Until you get the new lock, the deadbolt will secure the door.

Edit: Exec-40 posted while I was writing mine. I hope Jayco gives that lock vendor a good scolding; Senecas aren't cheap.

OnTheGo, not a bad option, will also take a look at that as well.

I wish I could tell you if the new lock was the same. My 2015 Seneca has been in for Warranty work now for 2.5 weeks and they still don't have everything fixed yet.
