Seneca cab seats

Can anyone tell me the brand/model of the seats used in the Senecas outside of the 2016 model year. My year 2016 has the stock freightliner seats in it, and it appears that is the only year they did that. While they are decent, the new seats in the 2017 and newer seem to be much much nicer.

My 2016 has Flexsteel seats in it. I’ve heard the 2017 were air ride seats!

There should be a tag attached to the underside of the seat that would give the mfg, model, covering info, etc. That would help RyRoRyan a bit. Flex steel builds a lot of seats of varying sizes.

Wow...if the new ones are not air ride, I wont even think of swapping them out. That air seat is one of the best features. It rides SOO nice with it. I was just looking for some leather that was more plush, but if those are stationary...that sucks.

Have the air seats in our 2016 HJ. Love them even though they are not as plush as the Flexsteel. Given the choice, would take them over any other option.

2016 difference

2016 saw several new things which only lasted a year. We saw full induction cook top, lighting under counter top, and Freightliner air ride seats. I was able to talk to one of the reps from Jayco at the Hershey RV show in 2016 when the 2017 was sitting there. Apparently, the inverter was struggling to provide power to the cook top (they went from 1800 watt to 2000 in 2017). I was also told that they had to special order those air ride seats and they spent a lot of time on that aspect. Unfortunately, customers did not like that color difference from the rest of the decor (and really, they could have had their apolstry shop cover them in some different material). I was even told that some customers where changing out the air rides for the Flex Steel in decor colors (~$4000). All that being said, I had the opportunity to test drive one, and after coming on an unexpected bad RR crossing at high speed, those seats are phenomenal.

Not sure if the information is true or just sales pitch, but that is what Jayco told me once. I don’t understand why the counter top lights went away; really liked that feature.

Yea...I did not realize the Flex Steels were not air ride. I will stick with air ride for sure.
