Seneca Cabin Air Filter

Maintenance weekend. First time I’m doing it all myself.

I started with the cabin air filter, front and back view.

This is after 25,000 miles. YUCK!!

The new one is pure white.

Ok, on to the oil change and install of Fumoto valve.

Mine had no numbers or name either. I went on eBay and ordered “For 2003-2006 Freightliner M2 100 cabin air filter 65161ZS” from Autopartsgeek for $27.96.

It looks identical and fits. Apparently Freightliner hasn’t changed the assembly since 2003.

Seems like a lot of money for what it is. I spent about $200 for fuel(2), air, oil and cabin filters.

Mine looked just as bad at 22k. Here's a link to a FRAM replacement:

It’s right in front of the passenger seat under the dash.

It’s marked “ cabin air filter” in front of the passenger’s foot and the access panel takes three torx screws to remove the first cover and then there is a second cover with three more screws.

Cabin air filter

Thank you. I’ve never sat in that seat.
