Seneca Cargo Bay lights

Just got our 2020 37K and didn't notice it had cargo bay lights till we got it home. Naturally I tried to turn them on with the switch each one has and no luck with any of them. Is there a switch somewhere to give them power? I have tried with shore power, 12v power and nothing seems to give power. Also noticed the wet bay compartment has a light too and would assume since no power there it is connected to same wire source as the cargo lights. Thanks in advance!

I would imagine they could be on one fuse. However, if you just got it home, put it on your punch list to have the dealer look at it.

Check fuse 9, a 15 amp fuse, in the bed based fuse box. According to my electrical diagram it controls the truck lights and the awning.

Does your awning go out and the awning lights work?

I was told by Jayco that those lights are tied to the main power switch. That had to be on and then you can turn them on or off individually.

I guess we all assumed that you had your 12 volt main disconnect on. Those lights get power from the coach battery. Glad you got the problem worked out.

Things that I’ve learned about my 2020 Seneca 37K

1. Main disconnect (Red Switch) near door only isolates 12volt fuse panel, Firefly
Controller and macerator pump.
2. Main disconnect (Red Switch) does not have to be on to charge batteries from
power converter when on shore power or generator. Power converter connects
directly to coach battery.
3. Inverter, Generator 12 volt power and radio come directly off the coach battery.
4. Power cord reel, leveling jacks, power seats and steps come directly off the
chassis battery with an automatic reset breaker for each.
5. The only lights which have a 12volt fuse and a on off switch are: bay lights, light
over fire place, lights in cabover, accent lights in sinks and lights above
headboard.
6. All the other lights are software controlled from the Firefly control panel.

All,
I have seen in several posts a reference to a "Firefly Control Panel." Looking it up it appears that it is a centralized panel that controls the lights replacing all the toggle switches that controlled the different lights when you first come into the rig? Is that a correct assumption?

It does more than that. From my panel I control the heat, AC, water pump, water heater, slides, awning, and lights. It also includes the fresh and waste tank monitors as well as LPG and both house and chassis battery levels. I have mine paired to my iPhone and iPad so I can control the functions from anywhere within about 25 or 30 feet.

This is a picture of the control panel close to the door. The screen displayed is the home screen. Each icon on the left has its own screen with controls.

You still have some lights switches, touch screen panel, phone app and a wireless button light panel. This all are inputs to the firefly which then turns on that light you wanted on.

Thanks for the info, if Jayco told you the bay cargo lights should work with master on and 12volt operating, then mine are somewhere not connected cause none of them turn on...will keep working when I get time hopefully this weekend

The first light in the chain from the 12 volt fuse panel with blue wire is in the passenger side rear corner then forward and crossing over to the left side.
