I've been in my dash many times, don't remember seeing identified power and ground points.

If anyone else has, please shout it out and tell us where!

All mounted and wired up!
Used the 3D printer to make a magnetic mount for the cell. An adapter for yeti cups is currently building.
Jayco thoughtfully left a WIDE OPEN hole through the firewall that let me run some 12ga through to tie in to my 12+. I used a 10mm bolt to the left of the steering column for ground.

Mine had that huge wide open hole also. I was looking around under the dash and was surprised to see my engine! There was no grommet or anything.

Where are you finding this hole in the firewall? Divers side, center, pax side, high, low? Where? It's good info to know. Have not found it yet. Thanks.

I found mine by having the hood up and looking straight at the firewall under the steering wheel. Light will be pouring in. It's probably 3/8" to 1/2" in diameter and is off to the right of the go-pedal.

Got mine all installed. Added the mini fuse panel under the dash like others. Got the power from on the other side of the firewall from the driver.

You should be able to find a black rectangle about 2 inches by 4 inches on the firewall. It's specifically for running cable or hose through the firewall. There multiple little circles on it and choices in size. Just puncture one of the holes and pass your wire through. If you're looking at the firewall from the engine compartment it's to the left of the steering column close to the hump for the transmission. From the inside it would be up and to the right of the accelerator pedal. The air line, CB coax and other wiring use this "panel" as well.

Mine all installed and wired, positive wire goes through firewall location as stated by others, wired to battery hot with 15 amp fuse. Dedicated ground to brake booster bolt near steering column under dash, 8mm x 1.25 nut did the trick. Installed a Radio Shack disconnect connector in wiring at console in case I ever need to remove it, just unplug and take it out.

Secured it to transmission tunnel with two 1/4" x 2" stainless steel self-tapping screws. Where it hits the floor is actually a rigid plastic cover under the carpet in case chassis had a manual transmission. So don't go crazy tightening them down, snug will hold things just fine. Raised the front end with the jacks and crawled under before I drilled, plenty of clearance from any obstructions.

With console in place still plenty of room to get up and go back to coach, way more than I had in my two previous E-cutaway Class C's.

Very happy with the console and how it fits!

A fellow Seneca owner and forum member designed and fabricated them. His external website is:
Build 5 Fabrication

He was listing them for sale on Ebay but sold all of them out quickly. More in production I believe.

Jayco Seneca console

I received my console today. It was exactly what I was looking for and the quality is amazing. This console will last many years and fits perfectly. If you are looking for a console I can't recommend this one enough. I attached a 4"magnetic tray I got at Harbor Freight and it is a perfect fit for mine. Thank you!

We received ours last week and absolutely love it! I haven't had a chance to wire it in yet since we've been camping every weekend, but that'll happen soon.

He definitely makes a product you would see built in the "old days". No cheap plastic that will break in a couple years. Going to wire mine up in the next few days. Hope all goes well.

Are you planning to run a power feed through the firewall like some others have done? I was thinking about using the brake controller power and putting a mini-fuse box on it to feed the 12v and USB ports.

wiring console

For now I willl be going through the fire wall. Seems to have two options to go through and will be an independent line. i am not an electrical guru as many are here so I try to go with basic. I steal allot of ideas here and saves me time. Also use youtube examples. Works so far.

You will love it. We are currently on a long road trip and it has really come in handy. Able to keep phones charged there, along with items stacked in the slots on the side, and drinks easier to reach. We keep a camera on in the windowshield while driving so it is able to plugged into the cigarette lighter without impacting anything. Definitely worth the price.
