Seneca Freshwater Tank Drains Through Vent

After filling the fresh water tank I traveled 200 miles to find 1/3 of the water had drained out the vent. Anyone else having this issue? I need to find where the vent exits the tank as I'm sure there is no rise in the piping allowing the water to drain out on every "slosh" of the water (turns, braking, etc...) suggestions?

Are you SURE you're loosing water from the vent? There are FOUR low point drains in the Seneca... Three of them are READILY ACCESSIBLE in the Utility Basement. There is a FOURTH low point valve on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE UNIT. On my 37TS, the fourth valve is located in the basement rear of the LP. The valve is "tucked up" behind a false wall in this basement. ODD placement, but I know it's there so I can monitor it. Check to see if this valve isn't COMPLETELY closed... That MAY be all it is.

That was also a problem with the KODIAK based units, water would siphon out the overflow as you made turns.

Dug into it last night, there are three vent lines off the top of the tank that 90 degree down under the coach. No valves, just three lines dumping under the coach. I understand why they did this (to prevent overfilling/over pressurizing) the tank. The problem is three lines dump unrestricted allowing water to drain on every turn or braking event. I will post the design, pictures and installation of my fix.

JAYCO doesn't put valves at the end of each overflow because you have to remember to open them when you fill and also open them after you get to your destination so you don't collapse the tank. Far too many owners would forget.
