I tried different "traditional" bulbs such as the Silverstars, even some HIR bulbs with very little improvement. But the OPT7 LEDs were my answer so far!

There was talk about adding vent, some do and others have not. If you were going to add vents, where would they go and where do you get them from?

OPT7 Not in Stock Currently!

Bummer, the OPT7 bulbs on Amazon are "Unavailable Currently". Did anyone find them somewhere else?

I heard OPT7 got out of the automotive bulb market. None even on their website. They only advertise accent lighting now.

Sent them an email. They aren't offering them anymore. Anyone have a good alternative?

Since this thread I installed the Freightliner/Truck-Lite full LED headlights. Much better than even the OPT7 lights I ran for a few years. Not cheap, but if you expect to do much night driving they are the ultimate 100% DOT legal headlights.

There are other threads on JOF where another user did a side-by-side comparison of his headlights.

I tried LED bulbs and the light pattern was off. Did some research and found that the M2 chassis headlights are the same as the S2RV. Freightliner makes factory LED headlights for the M2. I bought those. They're much more expensive then bulbs, but worth it to me. I paid around $500 each side. 100% plug and play.

Another good option, somewhat less expensive, is this company (link below). You send them your headlights and they retrofit them with a LED projector lens from Morrimoto for $750. Morrimoto is top of the line stuff.

The factory OEM lights are the way to go and like said are plug n play and fit the M2 and S2, I have had mine over 2 years. Robbbyr posted the correct numbers above. Also be aware there are Chinese knockoff saying they are OEM.

As far as modifying the housings like Deep Space does, they still will not project as good as a housing designed for LED bulbs.
