Seneca House Battery Maintenance - Disconnect Procedure

Wow! Next week will be a year since we picked up our FS...time flies! The house batteries are starting to get some corrosion on the terminals and I plan to disconnect all terminals, do a good cleaning and use some spray protector. Haven't done this before so I was wondering if the only thing I need to do before disconnecting the house batteries is just turn off the house battery switch inside the stairwell. Do I need to do anything with the inverter or any other devices? Would appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

Dave
