Seneca is at Jayco

Dropped my truck off at Jayco over the weekend for what may be a 5 week project. I compiled a list of 37 items including multiple paint issues and this grew to 45 by the end of the weekend.

I would like to ask some advice from you all here. Selling dealer attempted to fix a screw backing out of the floor and was unsuccessful leaving a entire tile that is damaged. If the gentleman who does the linoleum work is unable to fix that tile we have two options: 1. Cut a tile from under the bed and replace the damaged tile by the bathroom. 2. All new linoleum of a different color (old linoleum is unavailable).

We had our 2017 36FK there in August 18. Among other issues Mitch found two screws backing out in the bathroom. He brought in a local third party flooring contractor to open the vinyl, reset the screws, and seam weld the vinyl. Perfect job. We can’t find the repaired area.

A good flooring repairman can fix it with usually no problem. However I was told that the exposure to extreme cold will cause the repair to fail. Whether that is true or not I don't know. When it is done in a house you don't have those major temp swings.

If you don't mind the new color and they give you the option, I'd go for the new floor. We had warranty work completed at the factory just before our 2 years expired. They did a great job. It's unbelievable how those colors and styles change constantly on everything.

They should put Stone Plastic Composite floors in these things. They don't expand and contract. https://www.weshipfloors.com/floorin...core-originals

Our White Hawk had some floor issues that were covered under warranty, after the warranty had passed but as some work had been done while under warranty for the same issue, Jayco paid for the dealer to do the repair. It did require the entire flooring to be replaced.

SWMBO* has a critical eye when it comes to these things. When we picked up the White Hawk after the repair, you could not tell the repairs had been done.

Like you Ryan, we had to pick a floor covering from a newer Jayco as ours was also no longer available.

If you choose that option, you can make the claim you now have a "custom" Seneca.

Jayco picked up by 2017 Seneca and drove it back to the factory for repairs. We had 5 screws backing up from the sub-flooring and they replaced the entire floor and I like new color flooring better. I had the same color linoleum you do, now I have a darker wood grain. They also did a lot of other things on my list and upgraded several things that I had requested.
