Seneca lost radio power inside and out
Lost power to dash radio and outside radio. I was wiring in new outside radio and got something wrong, now got a problem. Checked all fuses I can find and none are blown (under hood and on panel in bedroom and under dash and in house battery compartment). Also leveler panel has no power. Not sure this is related but could be. Also checked fuses on batteries under drivers seat and they are good. Any ideas??

On the KODIAK SENECA's they hid a couple fuses behind the driver's side kick panel.. You may want to look there. Also I think someone mentioned some fuses behind the driver's seat on the FREIGHTLINER.

There is a breaker just above the chassis batteries. I tripped mine and the radio and steps did not work. I’m not sure what else because I remembered reading about it and reset it and all was fine. The breaker has a small lever that pops out as I remember.

Steps work and breaker is not tripped. Next step is to look at all fuses under drivers seat. Those fuse boxes are labeled body lights if I remember correctly so not too optimistic. I’m stumped. I read somewhere that the radio is powered by house batteries. Thinking I should focus there.

On my 2014 there is a 7.5 amp blade fuse incorporated into the solenoid closest to the door of the coach battery compartment. It feeds the Bigfoot leveling panel and the two radio's "keep alive" power.
I will snap a picture when it gets light outside!

The 7.5 amp fuse in the middle of the picture is what feeds my radios and my Bigfoot panel.

A few years back I asked Jayco to send me the various wiring diagrams for my unit. They need your VIN number so you get drawings specific to your unit. Several hours later they showed up in my email as PDF files. The one most helpful for this issue was (I believe) titled "Battery Area Wiring".

Problem solved
Indeed it was the 7.5 amp fuse. I checked it earlier but checked the continuity while it was in place. Rookie mistake. Have to take the fuse out of the holder to check properly. Thanks for all the input. I am going to request the schematics from Jayco as well.

Not really a rookie mistake. Jayco used a bunch of fuses that are not translucent and I found that out the hard way. What appears to be a visually good fuse, may not be as they don't blow in the center of the two blades... they end up blowing but must be checked by a good electrical tester.

Hello, my radio panel on soundstream on a jayco Seneca 37k , 2019 model went dead when I was trying to pair Bluetooth. On searching, I found this thread and I have found 7.5 amp fuse in battery compartment. How do I check if fuse is bad?

Go and pick up an inexpensive VOM (volt-ohm-milliampmeter) from places like this. Use the OHM settings on lowest and test the fuse with a probe terminal on each of the fuse blades (with it removed from the fuse holder). This meter will come in handy when tracing other electrical gremlins you will face sometime in the future too.

Thanks for posting. 7.5 amp fuse was bad. Seats, jacks and radios both inside and out quit. Your post saved me lots of time
