Seneca rearview camera - sound ?

Our Seneca has the Garmin RV-BBT601.

Should our rearview camera have sound on it ??

It appears that it has the microphone and I can get the microphone switched to appear activated but cannot hear anything...
The radio/camera/nav/phone system is very confusing.
If it should have sound I will keep messing with it.

I can only offer our experience with our unit. Their is an audio button the screen and upon touching it, it does create the ability to hear what you see.
I think it took us 2 years to find all the little capabilities and options on stuff. Keep playing with things. Consider it part of the adventure.

I can't find it on mine. I can see the microphone on the Garmin screen but I haven't seen it on or near the camera. I think it is an option on the Garmin that we don't have, but I do hope you find it. Sure would be nice not to have to use the walkie talkie or cell phones in those tight spots.

I will keeping messing with it and see if I can figure it out...
I also sent Jayco an email. I’ll post up if I figure something out and/or if I hear anything from Jayco.

Guess we need to keep trying to figure this one out....
Here is my response from Jayco :

Your coach should have audio coming from the back up camera. I would make sure the audio isn’t turned off for it.
