Seneca slideout tray install

I am looking to install a slideout tray in the middle basement compartment on the passenger side on my 2019 Jayco Seneca. This will hold a tool chest with tools. May weigh about 200lbs total. Any weight limit in these basement storage compartments? Thanks!!

Well I weigh more than 200lbs and I have crawled into the compartments to do some wiring . The 2018.5 and up mid belly compartments ar not just the plastic bins, they have a metal frame and plywood in them so you should be fine. I would also try and tie into the vertical tube that is in between each door on the back side. The reason I choose to use the small door for my tool box build was because it was narrow and well supported... the wider the compartment, the more it will flex.

Turned our great. I hated to give up that big, prime storage compartment on our as we keep a cooler there and the compartment to the left is half taken up with a gray tank. I searched high and low flor a metal box to fit someplace but couldnt find one that wasted cargo space so I built my own.

Slide out plans

Your drawers look amazing. Any chance you have the plans for the wood drawer slides you could post or send me?

I really don’t, it was so custom to that compartment with the drawers built around the latch and the angled bottom drawer it was something I just started taking measurements and cutting and fitting.

This worked good for me, Craftsman box was the perfect size. I put a piece of 3/4” plywood under the box to spread out the weight. Box is same height as pass-thru, chairs go in there behind the box
