Squeaky brakes 2019 seneca

I had the front drums, shoes and hardware replaced by the Freightliner shop because the transporter over heated the brakes on delivery and warped the drums. After 500 miles they would squeak just before stopping when the pedal pressure is eased up or going slow through a campground.
Been back to the Freightliner shop twice and was told not to use the engine brake so much and use more pedal pressure, which does help some but will still squeak at times and the wife doesn't like to straighten everything up at night. Does anyone have this problem and a fix. I'll probably have to replace the shoes with a better grade on my nickel.

Drum squeal on new brakes is most common from two scenarios. Either the brake shoe material is too hard, or the new shoes haven't bedded properly yet. I tend to agree with the tech that mentioned to use the brakes more. It takes a few hundred miles of city-type driving to get them to seat properly. Especially on larger drums like yours.
