Stair Extension and insulation 37RB

We have two quick questions regarding Seneca 37RB

currently parked in 100 degree Minnesota weather. ACs are keeping it quite cool inside, but sitting at the dining room table I can feel the heat in the floor.

Anyone add additional insulation to the floor of their slideout?

Second, switch at door for stair extension does not keep stairs extended. Switch checks fine, circut breakers and fuses are good. Anthing else to look at?

I recently had similar problem. Replaced the little wired magnet sensor and all is now well. Two little wires to crimp, they are available on Amazon, several in a pack for around $10. Hope this helps.
