I did the backsplash in our 2019 Greyhawk. It had some mirror tile things in the back of stove...nothing on the side. 2 of the original glass tiles fell off...the others were not very hard to remove. I tried the peel and stick mosaic....it looked good but it kept peeling off. The stove is really close to the side wall and I figured the Peel and stick would never handle the heat. I used standard glass mosaic tiles from home depot...the thin ones so they are pretty light. Instead of thinset....I used silicone...the kind you buy from home depot in the tubes. I put up the tiles and let it dry. I then grouted with colored silicone grout.....I purchased that from Floors and more. I will say it was a little challenging getting some of the grout lines cleared...but I got it cleaned up and the grout went on pretty easy. I found grouting small sections and then wiping down tile with thinner to remove the excess silicone grout before it started to set worked pretty well. It's been over a year and no problems....I'm really happy with the finished product.

Although the backsplash tile on our 2018 was real a couple of them fell off. The tile was mounted on a luan sheet that left a several inch gap between it and the bottom of the cabinets and hood. That light colored wallpaper strip exposed the ugly fact that either the counter top was out of square or the cabinets were. I removed the tile, installed a new piece of luan using construction adhesive that MOSTLY covered the entire backsplash area plus the short return wall. Next I installed the large tiles as pictured with only vertical seems to camo the out-of-plumb issue. These residential ceramic tiles were installed using standard methods and grout. No issues after 20,000 miles.
