Tires

2017 Seneca 37HJ OEM Michelin XZE2 275/80 R 22.5

I am having trouble finding this tire size in my area (Bandera, TX) Two dealers have recommended 295/75 R 22.5. What are the implications of going with a size not on the vehicle placard?

I forgot to ask.... any opinions on Toyos? One of the dealers I called can get the 295/75s out the door for $600 each.

I would ask the tire place you are dealing with if the increased section width of the 295 tires could cause the rear tires to be too close to each other when mounted in our "dual" configuration. There is a minimum separation required and I don't know if the increased width would bring them too close.

Last summer I replaced mine with Goodyear tires in the original size but they certainly were more than your Toyo quote!

You have a Discount Tire Company close? Go talk with them. What they don't have they can order and if you don't there is a Discount.com

Per tire rack and tire converter there is no viable option. Call a different truck tire dealer.

I did a search " 275/80 R 22.5" and got Walmart/Michelin, Simpletire, several brands that size.

We run Toyos on many of our buses at work. We have had very good experiences with them. It's our preferred tire brand.

Continentals HSR2's are good but pricey @ $635 ea. Toyo's are great tires as well if you can find them.

Thanks for the info.

Has anyone used the FMCA discount program? Is it worth the time spent finding a dealer in the program?

I was told that the 295/75/22.5 is the same as the 275/80/22.5
Found this site to compare and found out they are close but not the same.

I did years ago and it was simple finding a dealer.

Thanks,
Gonna look into them. Toyos are hard to find anywhere.
