thinking about getting a jeep gladiator as a toad. In my research I found that you can tow with all four down even if its an automatic. Can anyone concern that. Thanks

Does that model have a transfer case with a neutral position? That is the key to tow Jeeps. The specific owner's manual is the definitive resource to whether a vehicle is flat-towable or not. Some vehicles change from towable to not towable year to year.
And be careful what a salesperson at a dealership tells you, do your own research! I wanted a 2020 Explorer ST and the sales folks told me "sure, it's towable" and wanted me to place an order. But lo and behold Ford put a 10-speed automatic in them and it is NOT towable.

Check your owners manual. If it can be towed it will have a page for setup to tow.
There is also information on the Internet. Do a search.
If you go to the Jeep Forum and Gladiator there is a bunch of info there on towing it.

According to Good Sam's Towing guide it is. Both standard and automatic.
Gladiator 4,650 None Yes Yes 17/22 $35,040-$45,235
Special Procedures: Automatic transmission in Park. Manual transmission in gear (NOT IN NEUTRAL). Transfer case in Neutral. Disconnect
negative battery cable. See owner’s manual for very detailed instructions on shifting transmission into Neutral.

The Gladiators powertrain and 4x4 system is the same as the Jeep Wrangler JL and they are all 4 down towable. They are the easiest toad to setup we’ve used.

All Gladiators, in all configurations, are flat towable. As are all JL Wranglers. I tow all three of mine. The steering wheels don't lock, no need to have the key on. Transmission in any gear for the manual (my orange JL Sahara). Transmission in park (my JL Willys and my JT Rubicon). Transfer case in neutral on any of them. Towed my previous JK too.

I tow my 2016 Ram 4x4. I believe its the same 4x4 as the jeeps. You push a small button on the neutral button with a ball point pen or tooth pic ect...which is located be all the 4x4 selections. Works great

Cherokee and Grand Cherokee are like this, but Wranglers/Gladiators have manual transfer cases to go into neutral. It’s actually an easier process setting up for towing than the Cherokee we had a few years ago.

When does this come out? I hadn’t heard they were being built again. I had a 2004 model with the small V8 and it was a lot of fun.

2024 and there is a good chance for a V8 also. There will be an electric pickup with more range and power than the Ford has now but everything could change. It will have about the same as the GM electric PU

Just bought a 2021 JL Wrangler. Yes as above and what is neat about new ones that if you look at the bottom of speedo will tell you if you are in 4H 2H or neautral. Good to confer that you are in neutral. Shifter in Park, and PARK Brake off before you leave. Ever notice all those drag marks in gravel RV pads!!! Read manual will tell you all the changes are from neautral.

All Jeep Gladiators can be towed 4 down, because all have the two speed transfer case.

Towing jeeps 4 down
The jeep wrangler series is quite comfortable being towed with all 4 wheels on the ground.. here is a tip. My friend owns a shop in mesa, every year he repairs a few transfer cases that were flat towed from northern states. N colder climates.., It's important to warm up the transfer case before you flat toe the vehicle. The transfer case has an internal pump that may struggling to circulate cold fluid. Just a tip

Just wondering isn't most of the transfer case fluid lately ATF+4 pure synthetic and this has a pour point of -58 degrees. I could see if it was gear lube 75W-90 that would get thick
