Cool Upgraded Seneca with Awnings and Full Stove/Oven Combination

Just picked up our Seneca 37FS from our dealership, MH2GO, after upgrades.

Replaced the stove top with a full stove/oven combination. That gives me a good 3 burner stove top to sell if anyone needs one. We like ovens for good home cooked meals and occasional cabin warming. The convection oven in the microwave just didn't do it for us.

Also had 4 awnings put over the windows. Over both windows on driver's side, with one awning. A smaller awning over the bathroom window, same size over back window and then another longer unit over the top bunk window with extra length so when out protects upper and lower bunk windows. Awnings really help with heat and ability to leave windows open when raining.

Biggest upgrade for us was a cornice and shade over the door like in the 2018 units. Have already used it, every evening. Really nice addition.

Had unit also over to Metal Works Restorations for a little road rash touch up and general look over. Just like a house, we need to upgrade and stay up on maintenance to keep "Momma" happy and living on the road in 37 feet.

I've now got 2 drawer fronts to get off the drawers and utilize to open up easier access to unused storage areas. Thinking under the fold out couch in its front panel and under the oven where the LPG monitoring system currently sits. Drives me nuts to have un-accessible space.

Nice! I really like the look of RVs that have all the windows covered, not to mention how much cooler it must be.

When you can, please post photos.

Nice updates!

I also love my replacement range. In my opinion, once you have experienced a real range the convection oven pales by comparison in its abilities! I put unglazed ceramic tiles in the bottom of mine and they even out the temperature swings nicely.

I installed a long window awning on the driver's side slideout of my TS that shades the couch and dinette windows. Like you said, they help with the heat! Considering one for the back as you had installed.

Waiting from Jayco on my new entry door window that will match the rest of the coach's frameless windows. Will have to enlarge the window cutout, but I've hacked on my unit before installing a 10-gallon water heater!

Working on my SeeLevel tank indicator project and hot water recirculation projects right now. Always something!

Sorry, not big on posting pictures.

Recirculating hot water, now that's a project.
