Weber Q1200 hook-up to quick connect on Seneca
We have been using a Weber Q1200 for a while now and we love it. We use it with the small green propane bottles. Our 2007 Seneca came with a RVQ/VITCO optional bbq. My question is can I connect the Q1200 to the quick connect on the outside of the Seneca? I have been reading that you must remove the regulater off of the Q1200 for it to work, because other wise you will be regulating it twice and you will not have enough pressure. The thing that I don't understand is the RVQ/VITCO bbq has a requlator also. So is the connection at the quick connect HIGH pressure or LOW pressure?

Just catabolize the parts from the RVQ on to your Weber. That's what I did...works great!

Me too! There are threads with pics on here. That was the only thing I kept off the RVQ.

Another option that I did was purchase a 1 gallon propane tank at CW for about $50 or so. Fits into one of the long & low storage compartments on my 08 GH 31ss. Lasts a long long time between fill ups. LOL.

I do the same thing, carry a 5 lb. propane bottle with my Weber. This way it can go anywhere any time.

Same here I have a 5 lb bottle with a regulator and qc connector.
I like to move it anywhere I like and at the back corner of the rig is not always that place.

After the morning coffee kicked in, I decided to look into this. Am I on the right track here? This is the regulator removed from my Weber Q1200, and Quick Disco off that junk grill that came with my trailer.

Now you have a grill that works off low pressure LP. Either the QC outlet on your RV or a regular lp tank with a regulator on it.
