Question 2024 Swift Generator location

Hello,

I am now a proud owner of 2024 Swift 20T!

It is still in shop because the bathroom panel were peeling off the wall, not exactly a great start, but hopefully it gets fixed soon.

With that, for the brief two days I had the van, I noticed that the two house batteries and the generator are located underneath the car, with about 4 inches of clearance from the ground. From what I read, there isn't much I can do to raise the van in order to increase ground clearance.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to not destroy the generator? should i put a skid plate?

thanks!

2024 Jayco swift

I bought the same model and like yours my bathroom cover is peeling off. They tried fixing with silicone but didn't work because the cover is warp. So when it's hot it just peel off.

I am looking at generator skid plate but it cost $499 so still searching. In our local area there's a co. VAN up can raise it I believe about 3 inches.

Hmm…..I may have to take a look underneath to see if there’s room to raise the generator to get more clearance. I would do it in a heartbeat. As it is now, I can’t back up the curb to park in my dedicated RV driveway without using wood blocks in the gutter.

My issue with the Juggernaut skid plate are the exposed bolts, which may shear off from excessive scraping.
