Blackout shade

Ok there must be a trick. 2022 Jayco Swift. Sliding door has blackout shade attaches with snaps. How do you attach the snaps on the rear part since the snap is beyond the frame?

Open the door enough so you can reach the snaps. But, you probably figured that out by now.

Thanks for the response. Yes. Took 3 of us to figure it out. We opened the cargo door until it latched and caught the rear snaps. Then we fed it through and grabbed the front snaps. We’ve kept it on because it’s a bit of a pain and more importantly if you undo the front snaps we found you can jam it into the door latch when the door closes— undoing that mess is not fun.

Our solution isn’t pretty but works for easy on and off. Just use some pieces of masking tape to secure it overnight. Elegant for 120K ��

In a related matter, the cab window shades are a chore to set up and take down. So we put stick on hooks on the cabin threshold and hang room darkening curtains on the right and/or left for quick and easy privacy and access to the cab.
