Jayco 19y

Recently bought a 2023 jayco 19y. Anyone know why when charged to shore power it’s only charging to the battery to 97%? No faults or error code’s showing.

I would suggest that if it is a lead battery it may just be down 3%. Or the system is off 3%. Nothing beats putting a known load on a battery and seeing what it really has in it to make sure the metering system is accurate.

My library loaned me a KillAWatt meter that told me what watts I was using off the converter. Then added the calculated converter wastage to make the watts and tested mine that way. Some one amp bulbs, a 12 volt fan or some other known load would also work.
