Jayco swift 2021 van heater not working

Hey,

The van chassis' heating is not working on my Jayco swift 2021. I went to RAM dealer ship for warrenty, they can't fix it, saying the after market dash radio is interfering the communication of the heating system.

I don't remember Jayco mentioned to me that the radio system is aftermarket one, is that true?

thanks,
Jue

If your Swift has a "BOSS® dual-zone radio with Bluetooth®, DVD and remote", it is an aftermarket system installed by Jayco, or an audio business under contract. The good news is it's a very well-respected system. It sounds like you may have to take it to your dealer for repair.

that is the one at back? I am talking about the on on dashboard, which you can connect with your phone. The thing is that, the radio it self still working, but RAM dealer claim that it cause the car heating system not working.

Your best bet would be to contact JAYCO motorized. I personally can't see how a PIONEER system would be interfering with the chassis electronics.

I've heard about the pioneer dash radio causing other electronic problems like lane detection safety system malfunction, but nothing related to the RAM heating system. Have not experienced issues on my 2021 swift yet. You might try removing and re inserting the radio fuse to reset the system. Also there are software updates for the pioneer radio that may be needed on your unit? Jayco reps or possibly a qualified RAM technician should be able to do that.
