Exclamation Launch Battery Recall---Fire DANGER

Part 573 Safety Recall Report 24E-005Models-NTSB
Terrain (19Y)
Solstice LI (21BL)
Swift LI (20AL, 20DL, 20TL)
Launch (19Y)
Expanse LI (21BL)
Ethos LI (20AL, 20DL, 20TL)
Jayco never sent me the notice dated 12-23. My house power went out on my 2023 LAUNCH along with Renogy SOC out. Called Jayco a few times and they never told me about the recall and danger. They told me to troubleshoot and reboot the system numerous times. Never worked so I went on a trip without house power as they said plugging it into a 30-amp campsite will fix it. Did not work. Irresponsible customer service and company. La Mesa RV service told me 3 months until they could look at the power issue---they did not tell me about a recall or danger either! Finally, I got in earlier and the shop told me no batteries for 90 days. Terrible van and hope others are doing better. NTSB recall.

Is this the recall your speaking of? It states they were supposed to have a notice sent by March 2024. Maybe why you were not told.

JAYCO CS may not have known about it yet since it is from RENOGY and the supplier Patrick Distribution.

The date of submission on the recall is when it went to the NHTSA not dealers or customers. The notification date for Manufacturers could have been as late as March 25.

So I received my recall on my Ethos Li today , did the checks that they suggested and my system is working properly. I will call and make an appointment with my dealer to have them check as well . Interestingly Jayco at this time does not have a remedy they will contact us when a remedy is available.

I also got my recall letter this week and follow the instruction, my battery was fine. I notice the recall notice NHTSA # is different though. My letter show NHTSA # 24-160. I attached the information. This seem more unto date then the other #.
