For best advice add the make, model and year or your RV. So many different models that knowing that will help a lot to get specific advice.
Have you checked that your battery has any voltage? If it does have proper voltage start checking battery connections, fuse near battery, fuse in main panel, etc.

If it is a main battery cutoff switch they can fail but without the model info hard to suggest what else to check. But checking battery voltage is always the first step.

On the Class C's (and likely others) if you hold the disconnect switch down for more than a couple of seconds it will not turn back on. What you have to do is disconnect the battery for a minute or two (maybe less) and then reconnect it and then that action should turn the power back on (assuming the battery is not dead) and doing this will allow the switch to work again. This is the most likely cause imo of what you are describing but certainly other possibilities exists such as a bad connection, fuses, etc. ~CA

btw, the proper use of the switch is a very short momentary push for off and again for on, less than a second of time for the push.
