Melbourne 2017 Cabin Fasteners Rusting

The other day I was rolling around underneath my 2017 Melbourne and noticed that all the bolts and nuts that fasten the cabin to the Sprinter chassis are rusted. Also, the bottom plate of the Onan generator has a fair amount of corrosion. Has anyone else noticed this on their RV's? I live in Georgia and as far as I know, the RV hasn't been exposed to road salt. I've only owned it a year and bought it from a family in Florida. Is there a remedy for this condition, or does anyone know of a way to replace the fasteners, if they become seriously corroded, without tearing up the floor? I'm hoping this is only surface rust, and a coat of Rustoleum might take care of it.

Florida "salt laden air" is probably why.

On my 2016 there were several Jayco installed metal brackets and supports that were bare metal. Most had surface rust when I took delivery. Prepped and painted what I could get to easily but I still need to tackle the rest.
Also in GA and no travels to salted roads and minimal exposure to coastal travels.

It probably was driven to the dealer, from Indiana. If it was delivered in the winter, there was salt on the roads there.

Unpainted steel is going to rust if left untreated whether it was exposed to salt on the road or not.
