2021 Swift 20T info

3 months/3 trips so far with my used 2021 Swift. Still figuring out all the systems. Not a lot of info out there yet on the Swift.
No major issues but several fixes to tighten things up with screws and glue, and minor leak in the water supply system.

Interested in users experience running the Norcold DE105 refrigerator. Mine works fine on shore/generator power but doesn't chill on battery/inverter/solar?
Is it supposed to work on the 12 volt system with the inverter to 120v and solar recharging the batteries? Fuse box looks okay. Are there other buttons to push to make this work?

Appreciate others' insights here.

2021 Swift 20T info

so here is an update on the norcold DE105 refrigerator in case anyone else has this issue.....reset the 15amp breaker then disconnected shore power. the refrigerator continued to cool.... the battery voltage began to drop so i enabled the solar panel and voltage came back up and held...the refrigerator stayed on....did not turn on the magnum inverter.

don't know why or how but its working again...for the time being!

Very little info given at delivery. I hope Jayco is ready for a lot of phone calls.
We also got a Swift Li in March. Main issue has been system needs to be reset once or twice a day when connected to 30 amp shoreline. Hoping can get this issue fixed since if your battery goes down you basically have no power. The system runs off battery even when connected to shore power.

Mine came with about an 8 page manual on the Li system which actually is quite good.

Thank you for confirming the reset issue. Looks like will need to spend some time reaching out to jayco for a remedy.

Did you end up resolving your issue with the Pioneer radio as ours has done the same thing several times.

Our Pioneer has also gone out several times which is annoying. Have notified Jayco and dealer and awaiting a response.

Hey, I'm new here. I purchased Jayco's Class B Swift 20T this past September 2023. I'm new to everything, or now most things, with this campervan. Maintaining all the appliances seems daunting but with input from other Jayco owners will dull the initial pain. Peace on...JoePickleball.

Heck, I'm even trying to become familiar with this Jayco Forum...being my 1st day.

Judy Erickson I had the same problem with the aftermarket Pioneer radio going black and loosing my backup camera, did a quick google search , there is a small hole in the faceplate of the radio I used a small needle and pressed and mine came back on . I am not saying itís the same for everyone but it worked for me .

Picked up my 2024 Swift that just left the factory 7 day prior on March 11th. Just found out yesterday after I brought it to my local body shop that the drivers side below the side window was repainted and done very poorly. It needs to now have the entire side to be repainted to make sure it matches color. I emailed Jayco yesterday for what they are going to do about it.

Been a few weeks now. SO how do y'all like the Swift. I'm having issues with the Thule awning. The fabric is crinkling while opening up. Weird diagonal markings as it comes out.
Also, while the Truma Combi is supposed to be simple to use. Maybe it's age related, but it doesn't seem to be user friendly. So many steps Togo through just to turn on the water hear or the central heat. My wife just took it out for the weekend and she's calling me how to get the central heat to come on. I believe it's something to do with the "delay start" feature. It seems by default it's on. WHY???????. Luckily I have a small electric heater she is using in the meantime. Heater is working, it's just to get it to work is the issue.

It took a little while to learn the panel. But now that we have used it it is second nature. We really like our swift. Looking forward to our next trip.

We love our Ethos Li , a huge learning was camping in cool temperatures! We don’t have the Truma Combi system in our van as they put a Timberline heating system in and suck gas from t he main tank. We were boondocking and I put my heater element on electric instead of fuel and ran our batteries down, had to pack up and find a campsite with 30 amp plug-in , went through the small sheet of instructions for a system reboot of the electrical system . Since then no problems till the dealership screwed up my lithium batteries, they were replaced under warranty and are working as expected again. Our dealership has been good to get us in and and getting t hints done .

Hi KellyC, just an FYI, as an Ethos Li owner too, the Timberline electrical element isn't suppose to work unless you are plugged in on 30A. Mine doesn't work if I'm boon docking on battery only. I always have to use gas. I ask Timberline about this to see if there was something wrong w/ my system not working in electric mode and they said that's how it should work.

Thanks for the great info , would it have been because I had my inverter on ? It was my first time boondocking so I am not sure where I lost all the charge in my batteries.

No, cause I had my inverter on and it doesn't work unless I'm plug in. Ive gotten to work if I was using a 30a to 15a converter but it still was plugged in. I think it's an outlet that works a lot like the outlet for the TV in the van, for example the TV doesn't work while driving and that's cause the plug is designed to be shut off while driving. I don't really know for sure. The Timberline does have its own separate circuit breaker so it may be there.

To all of you that have the Swift 20T. Do you lose fresh water after filling to 100% and then do a drive. I'm losing about 30% after driving away after filling the tank up. It's a big project to remove the cover to check the tank. Wondering if it's me or that is the way it is designed.

Can't really say if we lose fresh water as we normally do not travel with full tank.
