14" aluminum rims

I have a Jay Feather 23RLSW on order with the option aluminum rims. The tire size is ST205/75R14.

The tires are load range 'C'. Does anyone know what the maximum load and tire pressure are for these rims?

I don't know who the manufacturer is.

May think in the future to going to load range 'D' if these rims are capable and a tire is available in 14".

I don't plan on overloading, just to increase the safety factor. Wireman

If you can't get the info you need, try emailing Jayco, they are usually very good about answering questions like these within a couple days. Matter of fact when mine was being built they sent me the exact sizes of all the bunk mattress's so I could pre-purchase bedding.

My Whitehawk also has 14" wheels and I am also interested in upgrading tires to load range D. Crawl under your trailer and look at the backside of the wheel; the wheel make and model, psi capacity should be stamped on the backside of the wheel. Mine is made by Sendel and is rated to 60 psi; not fully LR D rated. I emailed Sendel to verify. I may put LR D tires on it anyway and inflate to 62-63 instead of 65.

edwardo, thanks for the info on the wheel manf. I assume your wheels are the optional aluminum wheels Jayco offered in 2015?

Have you decided on a load range D tire yet? Is there one that is a ST205/75R14?

I have an X213 w/14" alum tims. Stamped on the back of each rim is "Max Load 2200 lbs." the max load and psi for the tire is printed on the sidewall. Mine are Ranier ST 205/75R14 and I know the max psi is 50. More info can be found on the side of the trailer on a white sticker just above or below the yellow sticker.

I changed mine on my 23RLS from ST205/75R14 load range C to
ST215/75R14 load range D. I got them from e-trailer after reading some of the reviews and the fact my son has these tires on his trailer with good results.

I was going to wait and get some miles out of the Rainer but decided not to.

TxTwoSome, did you have to upsize the tire to ST215 for the "D" load range? I believe the rim width is 5.5", so there was no issue going a little wider on the tire?

FYI, still waiting on delivery of my 23RLSW. It's been 13 weeks.

What brand tire did you get and how long did it take to ship to you?
