154BH to a 184BH or a 264BHW
WE currently have a 2013 Jay Flight Swift 154BH. Everything works just fine and we like it except that want bit more room. Like the idea of the Jay Flight Swift 184BH with a small sofa and bit more counter space, we currently have the dinette always down so there is no real sitting space.
The Jay Flight SLX 264BHW though lots bigger provides much easier access to the lower bunk which is double, has a sofa and also a bed (no dinette - no biggy to us).
Anyway wondering about experiences with the 264BHW. Also does anyone know if the bunk entrance is same size for the 145BH and the 184BH (kinda small on the 154BH).

We have the 264bh. I can't seem to find the difference between the 264bh and the 264bhw but either way.. We travel with 4. Us and two 17 year old boys.. We love our TT and it does have room for us, but next time we will look at a slide out. It can get a wee bit cramped trying slide inbetween the kitchen and table..

Buy the biggest camper you can safely tow that meet your needs.

We upgraded from. 154bh. Was a great trailer just would like the room like you say. I say go biggest you can pull/afford. You dont want to have to keep upgrading, its not usually friendly to the pocketbook.. Good luck! We went with a 25bhs couldn't be happier (discontinued in 2014 though, i think). But we looked at quite a few 26bh also very nice. Like Nighthawk 96 says, slide really gives extra space for the rainy inside days.

Thanks all, looks like the 264 is primary to look at, also close to us (40 miles) and pricing is $13,495 (within our budget) The 264BHW - W means wide as in 8' I believe. Also towing should be problem have '07 Ram 1500 with 5.7L and tow package...

You should be able to negotiate at least 20 percent off MSRP in that price range.

I looked at one of the links one of the members posted on the 264bhw and to be honest I still couldn't find any difference from the 264bh we have...
But to agree with everyone else. Go as big as you can afford and can safely tow with your vehicle..
We have camped in 100 degree weather and our A/C kept us nice and cool. We have camped in 30 degree weather and our heater kept us nice and toasty.. Our freezer keeps everything frozen and or fridge keeps everything cold.. We have memory foam on the bunks and master bed and we all have a great nights sleep. There is decent storage for all of our accessories in and outside.. Like I said in a previous post.. We love our camper. But if we ever upgrade we will seriously look at a slide out...
