195RB broken front window
Anyone with a 195RB ever gotten a broken front window? The rock guard is not offered on the 2021 model. Any other options out there?

I have a '17 with rock guard. You might look at ordering a replacement from the older models as long as the dimensions are the same.
If I could afford it I would buy a window that opens as my 195RB needs ventilation over the bed area. I rarely open the rock guard as we never open it.

I don't know if they do but I would start with the original window manufacturer and call their customer service dept. and see if they make one that would fit. After that the dealer, etrailer or google for someone who would. If you find one, please post! I would consider doing it myself. The fixed window is a waste of money, weight and leaks.

That fixed front window does nothing. But the rock guard has gotten hit several times mostly from our own 18 foot long kayaks being too far back on the truck ( before we smartened up)
After five years though no leaks. We rarely put the rockguard up.

I'd just pass on a window in the front with out a good cover to close while traveling.
Just seems vulnerable to me.

Why any manufacturer wants to put a window in the front of a travel trailer is beyond me. I can't keep fresh (uncracked) glass in either of my two forms of transportation, I don't need to be worrying about a trailer too.
I would get the window fixed and then hit up a shop to make you a snap on cover for traveling.

With a view like that, what in the dickens are you sitting in the camper for? Get outside and enjoy it!
At least you have a rockguard, I can understand a window if the manufacturer includes that with the window. Why would they not think it was necessary?

Just bought a 2020 174BH had the same thing occur 4th time out. I've been trying to get Jayco to install the previous window that had the rock guard. They stopped manufacturing these with the rock guard some point during the 2020 line. I've gotten no where with Jayco they will replace with the same window under warranty. But as you've probably found out there months out on that.
I found a local glass company.to replace with tempered or Lexan for $400. The whole frame has to come out to do it. Second option would be to have Jayco ship you the older version window with rock guard. I priced that at about $500, but Jayco won't cover the cost.
I've decided to have the same tempered glass put in, and I am going to make a DIY rock guard either out of Lexan or PVC board. I'll post pics when I get that done.

I would gladly buy the one with the rock guard but cannot find it! I have only found some vertical slides with the same dimentions (18x 48) and one horizontal slide but would have to cut the opening bigger (20x48). Cant believe this is where I am with 2021 model!
I am also striking out on a glass company to replace just the glass, the frame and weatherstrips are fine.
The oe glass that was suppose to be 2-3 weeks out is now on intergalactic backorder. Was told Jayco is seeking other vendors to make and fill orders.

Temp window installed.
Got the temp window installed and we are back to camping! The OEM replacement window ordered is now due end of December to mid January. I am told they are now making the 195rb's (aka slx 7's) without the front window fyi.

It is a slider but had to seal it up and use as a fixed window. Due to the angled front wall the sliders do not drain correctly and leak. This is a temp window until my oem window comes in.

When we wake up and push up the window shade at the head of our queen bed, while still relaxing we usually see deer walking by. The front window was the only reason we bought that Jayco.

Below is how I built mine. Currently the latch opens completely and rests against top of camper. I have gas struts I might attach later to allow an awning style. In order to determine stud locations I contacted Jayco service gave them my VIN and they sent the building plans blueprint.
Materials and links below.
