1st Mod to do

Have a brand new 2013 Jayco 26BH...what in your opinion would be the first mod needing to be accomplished?

Thanks

Electric tongue jack if you don't have one.

While I suggested the tongue jack, that may be the only thing you should do right now. Take your camper out a few times and you'll see what may or may not work for you. I've seen mods I would like to do and I've also seen some mods I would NEVER do. Just because a mod works for someone doesn't mean it will work for you.

For example, some people will replace their bulbs with LED lights. This is fine if you are camping without electricity but if you always plan to camp with electricity then it's really not needed.

For now, enjoy your new camper but also browse the forums to see what people have done. You'll eventually see what you may want to do.

When I had a TT that is the one thing that I really kicked my self for NOT doing. Get the electric tongue jack, and along with that an adapter for your cordless drill to raise and lower your stabilizer jacks. If I recall, a 3/4" socket and you can get a 3/8" drive "bit" for your drill. The combination of both will make things SO much nicer.

The electric jack wasn't my first but when I put it on I wondered why I waited so long.
