2003 26FBS - Manual Slide-out Gears

Does anyone out there have a schematic diagram or gear information of the gear box for a hand crank slide-out? I have a 2003 Jay Flight 26FBS. The crank just spins and will not allow the slide-out to go in or out. My guess is there may be a shear pin in the gear.

I spoke with my local dealer, they referred me to Jayco. Jayco indicated the gear box was manufactured by Power Gear and Power Gear was bought by Lippert. I contacted Lippert and they indicate they cannot find anything. I went back to Jayco and was told "it is discontinued and no longer available". I am hoping someone out there might have some information or had a similar issue.

The red arrow in your photo points to the shear pin...that's probably the problem, it's broken. Just a guess..

I pulled the gear box off and found the pins were fine. The shaft going through the gears snapped where the lock gear pin went through the shaft. Now to try and find a new shaft.

An alternative may be to take the pieces to a metal fabrication shop, and see if they can duplicate it from the same or better material. May not be cheap, but doable.

RV Junk yards?

Are there any RV junk yards out there to source parts from?

A machine shop/fab shop should be able to fix that.
