2003 Designer 32rls slideout issues

Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me here. The slideout goes out okay, but when you try to bring it in, it struggles. The slideout will begin to come in and then stop.

While we were leaving a site, we had to push it in to get it to go, then it was not level on one corner when it was in.

The book that came with the trailer, gives very little info on the slideout.

The converter went out while we were camping and was replaced with a used one. I purchased a new converter and plan on installing that next week. Could this contribute to the slideout issues?

Thanks!

Yes. You need fully charged batteries that also get a boost from the converter.

Try connecting the 7 pin to your tow vehicle with the engine running and see if that helps.

Hello,

I will try that. Today we pushed the slide in until it started to go in on its own and I noticed that about halfway in, the slide shifted up almost as though it isn't level.. like if it was tilted towards the ground. Once it got past that point, it went in.

If it is a flush floor (level with the floor when open, no step up) that is normal.
