How long does it take your norcold fridge to cool down? I've had mine on LP for 2 hours and the freezer is at 18° and the fridge is at 65° its also set on 9.

12-24 hours should do it. I always turn mine on about 2 days before a trip.

You can't really travel with it turned on right? Or do you turn it off during the travel and turn it back on?

It's always on. Run it on gas while driving, electric in the campground. Many opinions on the subject...

I store my unit off site, so I bring it home after work the day before we leave. By the time I fill the fridge it is cold (12-18 hours later). If we are traveling less than 2-3 hours, I leave it off (basically its a cooler at time). If more than 2-3 hours, I put it on gas.
