2007 Jayco Jayflight

Hello everyone,
My wife & I recently just picked up a 2007 JayCo Jayflight travel trailer. Anyone know what’s the ideal battery size for it?

Congratulations on the new-to-you JayFlight and welcome to the forum.

The 'ideal' battery depends upon A LOT of variables for using the trailer.
To start: Are you going to use it where you ALWAYS have hookups or use it where you NEVER have hookups or ???

Thank you. We’ve been looking into Jayco for awhile. The places we go usually always have full hook ups available but there’s time my family and I might try a spot without hookups.

If you don't want to spend much money and have room for two RV batteries, use group 24 or 27 which is sufficient for the average user. One thing not to do is: run batteries down below 11.9 volt, they will ruin fast.

I always have hookups with the exception of a day here and there so I bought my battery from Costco.

We only have a spot for one battery. Is there a way to tell how low it’s run?

That’s how we are with the hookups most days. I’ll look into theirs.
