2010 Jayco 322 FKS

We are picking up a new 2010 Jayco FKS on Friday. It will be an exciting day for us. Anything we need to look for in the PDI that is particular to this model? We are not new to RVing, but is our first Jayco and first new unit.

Take a camcorder make sure the sound is on, there is a lot to learn in a short amount of time (the dealer won't mind). Ask a lot of questions about the sewer system, electrical system, water system, maintenance, propane system, slide-outs, hooking and unhooking the tow vehicle, and don't forget winterizing.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum hausknwa! Practice everything you were taught as soon as you can (for some that means camping out in the driveway to put everything possible to use). Start a "warranty list" as you will invariably have some warranty issues pop up in the tt's infancy (after being at this forum for a while, I haven't noticed that folks have expressed the any one thing that re-occurs over and over). Know all is well as you have a 2 year warranty. And best yet, enjoy your new Jayco. Post later and let us know how your tt is doing and post pics!!!

Welcome. You are going to love the 322 FKS. We P/U our 2010 back in Feb. and have been thrilled with it's features and space. We did have a few minor warranty issues but I think that is the nature of the beast. It tows great behind our 09 2500HD D/A. We spent a month in it during spring and have a 2 month trip planned this fall.

Be sure to check everything during your PDI. We forgot to check the black tank back wash and had a leak on our first trip. It turned out to be a loose fitting. We also didn't test the flush on the toilet and had a defective valve that leaked only when filling the basin- it worked fine when fully depressed.

Enjoy and share some pics.
