2011 32 BHDS Rear Kitchen Drain Modifications

Hello

Here are a few pictures of the drain modifications of the rear kitchen sink, as the factory installation has the rear kitchen drained into the black tank

I changed the rear kitchen too either drain into the black or the grey tank

img 0022 shows a picture of the new rear kitchen drain pipe connected to the grey tank on the right and you can see the water tank on the left

img 0024 shows to drain pipe as it comes from the rear kitchen through a frame member by the grey tank

img 0028 shows the air vent added just by the rear kitchen sink , helps

img 0030 shows the 2 shut off valves one directs the rear kitchen drain to the black tank the other one directs the drain to the grey tank

img 0027 shows some of the plumbing for the sink

if there are any more pics you would like to see please let me know

Looks nice and clean. I am glad you were able to modify your TT to meet your needs. Some complain too much about the factory design and do not bother to take the time to customize the way you did.

I agree with usmc616.

re: GREAT Work!!! And great pictures showing your mod as well...

I wonder why Jayco designed "rear kitchen sink" drainage into its Black Water tank? Is it because the black water tank is much larger? Is it because back water tank needs more liquids added (for easier flow out its drain pipe)? Or, is it because connecting to black water tank was less build cost - going down their factory assembly line? For these questions, only time will tell...

It appears your install is very clean. You do great work!!!!

I say its option 3. It cost less and was probably easier to drain to black tank. And to my knowledge both tanks are the same size, like 32 gallons each.. Doesnt make sense to me[
