2012 26BH any Cons

Pretty much new here. I am researching and planning on purchasing a 2012 Jayco 26BH I have been reading all the posts I can to become informed regarding the purchase. I was wondering if anyone has heard or experienced any cons to this TT?
Thanks

We have many 26BH owners on this forum and there are no problems specific to this model I can think of. It is one of Jayco`s best selling floorplans. Welcome to the forum.

I've had my 26BH for one season, just went out for our first outing of 2nd season. Had some very minor issues that the dealer took care of without issue. I have 3 boys and they like the bunks. It's a great floorplan. Of course, it gets a little packed up with all 5 of us in there sometimes.

Love my 26BH. I consider it a good value for the price, size, weight, etc. It is a little tight through the center, but we deal with it just fine.

We love ours. Has been great for our family with 4 little girls. Will have to go bigger as they get older.

When we were looking to buy our TT we looked at several and narrowed it down to two: 26BH and 25BHS. In the end we decided to go with the 25BHS because as tafische pointed out, the 26BH is a little light through the center. The slide on the 25BHS adds so much living space and our toddler needs room to roam. Otherwise, I think 26BH is a great floorplan.

I've had mine for a year and a half and for the price it's been a great trailer. I've spent about 9 months living in it, and towed it around 15,000 miles.

The only problems I've had were minor (like blind strings breaking and signs of some moisture infiltration in one of the walls- all fixed happily under warranty). The thermostat acts kind of goofy sometimes, but I plan to replace it with a digital so I never worried about getting it looked at.

As far as the tightness of the floor plan, I solved that by removing the fold out sofa. That really opened things up.

The 90 gallon fresh water capacity is a big plus for boondocking. Tows really nice too.

If I knew what I was doing when I bought it I would've gotten the thermal package and tried to get dual pane windows. The glass tends to sweat a lot when it's cold outside.

The bathroom exhaust fan left a lot to be desired, so I replaced mine with a
Fantastic Fan, which really pulls a lot of air.

The dinette seating isn't the most comfortable, either. I might replace the seat cushion foam with more dense foam in the future.

The gas range and oven work really well, as does the fridge, though some have found a booster fan in the fridge helps some.

All in all, I highly recommend the 26BH.

I thank all of you for you input. We have been looking at many TT and have been looking between the Jayco 26BH and the Star Craft Autumn Ridge. They have identical floor plans but the Jayco appears to be of sligtly higher quality. I will be pulling the trigger soon.
