2012 eagle superlite 29RES

We just had our maiden voyage with our new tt and it was beautiful weather, and it went off with out one problem. The only noticed 1 thing. Our tt did not have a stove top on it(the cover over the burners for more counter top). Shouldn't this have come with the tt?

A friend purchased a new trailer ('12 Dutchman) last month and it had no stove cover as well. Might be something new with RV manufacturers keeping costs down?

Its an Eagle model. It should have a stove cover on it. It's usually about a $40 option.

I just checked the 2011 and 2012 Eagle brochures. In 2011, the stove cover was included in the Value Package (which is just a fancy name to make standard features look fancier). In 2012, the cover is not listed anywhere. Period. Not even as an option. Still another way Jayco has cheaped out for 2012 (unless it's still another error in their literature).

What has happened to Jayco? Did they have a major leadership change?

Edit: I just went to their website and the cover is listed as standard there. Since the OP didn't get a cover and the fact that Jayco has cheaped out elsewhere, I suspect it is just no longer provided. Definitely, Jayco is STILL having problems with their marketing literature.

Bi Fold Range Cover is standard on the Eagle line, Not on the Eagle Super Lite Line. The 298 RES is from the Eagle Super Lite Line.
