Connecting the yellow connection to the back of your tv will allow you to play a dvd in the jensen unit while listening to it over the trailer speakers. Would imagine the red and white connections would be to channel the sound directly to your tv for listening through your tv speakers. Have the same trailer and prefer to listen to the sound thru trailer speakers. Just make sure you turn off the outside speakers.
